Beside the chair where you read those first picture books, this print gives little eyes a baby chinchilla’s adventure to follow.

Wearing a white diaper, the cheerful chinchilla reaches for a butterfly. Pearl gray watercolor and loose black ink lines bring the little animal to life. Pale beige rocks and a few sage green plants suggest its natural habitat, with plenty of open white space surrounding the scene.

The square layout gives the illustration room to breathe. Its soft palette pairs easily with light wood furniture, cream fabrics, and softly colored nursery walls.

Hang it in a nursery or reading nook, or choose it as a baby shower gift for parents who love animals and simple watercolor illustrations.
